MISINFORMATION AND TRUTH ABOUT POVERTY

Manqoba non-profitable organization is dealing with helping the public with the rightful information they deserve to know through word of mouth and on Social media platforms.  What is poverty? Poverty is being in the situation whereby you are extremely poor, in such a way that it's even turning to be difficult for one to know nor have something to eat in the present day even in the next few coming days, because of being seriously disadvantaged. South Africa is one of the countries that have a higher percentage of poverty around 2020. South Africa had about 49.2% of people who experienced poverty in 2020 according to the Department of Statistics.

They are misinformation about poverty in South Africa, which is becoming a stereotype in the nation. Many Citizens say," People who are living in poverty they dreaming small, they don't have bigger dreams compared to the people who are affording because everything they stress about is "what is our next meal" instead of thinking about the future nor what will change their lives for good," People think that most of the citizens who are living under poverty they actually have fewer rights than the privileged ones who are affording. They think they can just do anything to them without any fear that they will report just because they are poor. Privileged people assume that they can do anything to the ones who experiencing poverty, in return to give them money considering that it's the only thing they need.

The truth is people who live in poverty got the same rights as everyone else in the nation. We have people who became something big in the country where else they came out from poverty. Poverty doesn't really define anyone's entire life, It's just one of the disadvantages people experience in life. We have so many people who dream of becoming billionaires who are currently poor, for the fact that they dream and try to make a way to be one doesn't mean they can become one. According to the LCS 2014/15, approximately 40.0% of female-headed households were living below the UBPL.

    The blog is very useful,it was needed in order to shape the public eye about the reality behind poverty and disadvantages of being poor,also adding that being born in a poor environment or rather family does not necessarily mean you are destined for being poor.

    This is the most engrossing and fascinating blog indeed 💯. This misconception that people who are poor are not dreaming big is actually Unbecoming and it has became a norm in our society. I'm glad that this blog has debunked completely this delusion about destitute people and that will somehow have an impact on bringing back the equality in our society.

    This information mentioned is very much useful, especially in the world of today where poverty is not really understood, I stand with the information mentioned because by reading it, one can be cognizant of poverty by saying that I mean people from privileged backgrounds, because some cannot really be told or made aware of poverty hence they live through it.

    This information is very much useful once again because it brings redress to peoples perspectives which are wrong about poverty, not everyone is fond of poverty, some live through it because they were born in it, therefore the negative views about it does not help them anyhow in changing their lives, this information is really useful as it highlights the injustices faced by the less privileged.

    It is very unfair for people to think poverty stricken people don't have big dreams because that is totally not true ,those people are less privileged in most things also their dreams and aspirations are limited, At least Manqoba NGO is ere to unpack and debunk poverty misinfomation.This will help a lot of people.

    Yes I can be poor, but that does not mean also my mind is poor. People need to stop thinking less about poor people and start considering and treating everyone equal.

    Having money doesn't mean you are above people who don't have anything or it means that you worth more than that because we all have the same rights no matter what status. Manqoba NGO is a type of organization that is needed as they are informative and they raise awareness about misinformation to poverty and make it clear that we all have the same rights no matter how much money the other one has.
